a- Knowledge and understanding
After successful completion of the course, the students should be able to:
a.1 Understanding basic knowledge of special Zoonoses.
a.2 Recognize the Parasitosis, Viruses, Mycoses & Zooanthroponses.
a.3 Study of occupational Zoonoses & role of animals in transmitting Zoonoses.
a.4 Know the appropriate methods for prevention and control of zoonotic diseases.
b- Intellectual skills
After successful completion of the course, the students should be able to:
b.1 Differentiate between rodents & their control.
b.2 Develop problems lists and differential diagnosis using the diagnoses procedures (Conventional & Biotechnological methods) to reach the appropriate solution to zoonotic diseases.
b.3 Identify the modes of transmission and demonstration of some vaccines, toxoids & antisera.
c- Professional and practical skills
After successful completion of the course, the students should be able to:
c.1 Using the more recent advanced and specialized differentiation between rodents and their control.
c.2 Use appropriate safety procedure to protect themselves and attendant from zoonotic diseases.
c.3 Able to decontaminate diagnostic materials.
c.4 Diagnosis procedures & transparencies of modes of transmission of zoonotic diseases.
c.5 Implement several strategies for control zoonotic diseases.
d- General and transferable skills
After successful completion of the course, the students should be able to:
d.1 Able to be a successful member in zoonoses diagnosis & their control.
d.2 Presentation of a scientific veterinary extension service & solving problems of zoonoses.
d.3 Utilize computer and internet skills, assay presentation.
